Rabbi Shmuley forced Jeremy Ben-Ami, head of J Street, to apologize to his close friend Israeli Ambassador Ron Dermer on national TV on CNN when Ben-Ami accused the Ambassador of engineering Prime Minister Netanyahu’s speech to Congress, and for political purposes. Rabbi Shmuley forcefully asked him to provide evidence and when, despite trying, Ben-Ami could not Rabbi Shmuley demanded an apology, saying Ben-Ami should not be allowed to malign a good man without a shred of proof.

Ben-Ami apologized.
